Tony, who resides in the specialised care centre, benefits from tailored support that meets his needs, including spacious accommodations designed for ease and comfort, particularly beneficial for residents with Parkinson’s. Kay praises the thoughtful design, "There's big open space, which is great for Tony because people with Parkinson’s have a funny space awareness." This feature of the village allows him to navigate more comfortably, enhancing his quality of life.

Throughout the video, Kay emphasises the liberation and reduced anxiety she now feels, thanks to the supportive community and staff at Pacific Coast Village. "It's just liberating. I just feel more enthusiastic about things, and now I have peace of mind," she says. Her newfound freedom is also allowing her to engage more with the community and join more activities.

She also reflects on the positive changes in their conversations, "Before, we didn't really have much to talk about because we were living such a mundane existence, but now I can say, what have you done today? He's done exercises, played bingo or 500... We're both quite a lot happier than we were."
